A glass funnel with a fritted top of superfine porosity.  The suction surface diameter is 9.2 cm (2.33 inches).  Excellent for working with delicate and fragile papers or textiles such as vellum or silk. 

Each fritted glass disk includes a small workstand to keep the device in place during treatment, and an adapter to connect to the desired vacuum source. State what vacuum source is being used in the notes to ensure the correct adapter is included with the device.  Standard vacuum sources are considered to be the , or the MSC Vacuum Control Console.  Vacuum sources are sold separately.  Non-standard vacuum sources may require an additional charge for an adapter.

Also available for this device is the Suction Worktable.  The suction device is installed along the short edge of the table.  Table measures 3 x 4 feet (91 x 122 cm) and is the same sturdy construction style as an MSC Painting Lining Table.  Each table is made of a steel table frame powder coated black with a high density polyethylene table surface.
